Thomas has serviced my yard 3 times now. Each time, he messages first, and shows up as indicated. Last week, he arrived at the same time as the rain. He waited in his truck for awhile to see if it would clear up. It didn't. He had to leave. About an hour later, the rain stopped. I messaged him, and he returned to do the spraying.

This service definitely works. I am a huge magnet for mosquitoes and love to fish. When sitting on the dock one night after getting eaten alive while filleting I knew there must be a better way. Enter Mosquito Shield. The treatment has gotten the property under control and I now look forward to arriving on the dock and enjoying the fresh catch. Highly recommend!

After moving to my new home in Pompano Beach, I quickly became aware of how prevelant the mosquitoes & no-see-ums were in the area. I needed a solution and contacted Mosquito Shield after pricing out many options. Eric and his team responded immediately and were super professional in communicating what to expect. After the first treatment I noticed a very significant reduction. While not perfect from the first application, they did say it would take 2-3 sprays for full efficacy. By the second treatment I was no longer swatting and since the third, I haven't had issues again. I've been using them for almost six months now and this is a service I can't live without. I highly recommend them, THANK YOU for allowing me to use my property with my family mosquito free!

I’ve had other mosquitoes services before and nothing compares to the service you will get from this company. The owner is very responsive to phone calls if there any issues. Highly recommend this company you will not be disappointed.

We offer a paid-in-full pricing discount which is ~20% off when signing up for the year. We also offer a $25 referral credit for the referral and $25 off for the new customer. We do like to surprise our customers with special gifts when recommending a friend.

Will the spray only reduce mosquitos? Does it reduce any other annoying bugs?

Eric Vincent | Dec 7, 2021

While our product is specifically formulated for mosquitos you will experience significant reductions in other nuisance pests. The most common include Ants, including Carpenter Ants and Fire Ants, Biting Midges aka No-See-ums, Beetles, Biting Flies, Cicadas, Fleas, Flies, Gnats, Hornets, Moths, Roaches (including Cockroaches), Silverfish, Spider Mites, Spiders (including Black Widow, Brown, Recluse, and Hobo Spiders), Stink Bugs, Termites, Ticks (including Brown Dog Ticks), Fruit Flies, and Wasps.

How often do you need to spray? Will the treatment last even if it rains afterwards?

Mosquito Shield of Boca and Fort Lauderdale | Dec 7, 2021

We actively monitor both the mosquito population and weather conditions and adjust your treatments as needed. On average, we spray every 10-14 days, a proven and effective approach that has us spraying significantly more times than the industry average. We will postpone applications if heavy rains are forecasted. We adjust our schedule based on weather (temperature, rain, wind, current mosquito populations). The application also has a Rainshield in it that allows it to hold up to rain.

Is this treatment safe for my pets? What about the bees and butterflies?

The EPA states it poses no risk to humans or pets when used according to the label…which we do! This article from the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services does a fabulous job of addressing the most common questions. https://www.fdacs.gov/content/download/3188/file/Permethrin%2520QA%25203-20-13.pdf Being the industry leader, we must also be stewards of the environment. Protecting our honey bees is critical to Mosquito Shield. Honey bees are pollinators that help crops yield fruits, vegetables, and flowering plants flower. Mosquito Shield does not use neonicotinoids, often called neonics, that have been linked to Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).
