I would like to echo what others have already mentioned about this community, THEY ARE THE BIGGEST FRAUD EVER. I lived here for more than 1 year and we would constantly, and on a monthly basis, be charged erroneous charges (including but not limited to- extra parking spot which I did not have, random cleaning/light bulbs changing fees, month-to-month rent fees although my lease was for full 12 months duration rather than monthly rent etc). When you contact the billing department about those unjustified fees, it takes them couple of days to respond back. Their response are always vague and never address the issue. It is up to you to take screenshots of your payments and provide evidence that those fees they charged you with are erroneous and fraudulent. On move out, I was charged a hefty $500 cleaning fees although I made sure prior to my move out that I thoroughly and professionally clean the place and I even took pictures and videos as evidence of the cleanliness of the place (I even offered to send the pictures and videos I took for their reference). It has been more than 4 months since my move out, and I am still getting bombarded with endless no-reply emails with due fees for cleaning and a parking spot (which again I NEVER HAD). I have been emailing the billing department back and forth since then about those (email thread count is 50+) and it has been falling on deaf ears. Also, on move out the utility bill was around $161 which I paid in full and got a payment confirmation of that. After 2 months of moving out, they sent me a random utility bill with an amount of $43.35 claiming it was left over from before. I sent them evidence of my payment, WHICH WAS IN FULL TO A BALANCE OF $0, confirming the payment but they just ignore my emails and continue to send me random bills. The building it self is in a miserable state- maintained requests takes days and sometimes up to a whole week to get done. The trash rooms are always filled to the top and the smell is unbelievably strong goes into the hallways. The packages situation is a mess and they frequently lose your packages as their locker system is always down and packages get thrown on the streets. The walls are ultra-thin and you can even hear your neighbors daily lives through. Board street is super loud and there are constant bikers and ambulances and music out loud all the time. It makes your life miserable living there. This place is a scam. I cant stress enough how important it is to stay away!

Avoid at all costs. This property is run horribly. The apartments are nice but the filth in hallways/elevators is disgusting. Multiple tenants drag trash through hallways and it takes maintenance a whole week to clean up. No repercussions to offenders as there are no sort of security cameras on the tenant levels. The east building residents are treated like second class residents. Packages get stolen even though they have a “package system”. Forget about it if you have a dog. Between the construction, dangerous traffic, and unkept sidewalks around the property, you’re animal will hate their life. Apartment was nice when we moved in but has dropped off a cliff since UDR took over.

This place is nice on the outside but the staff and building management are extremely difficult to work with. I had a medical emergency publicly in the lobby where the staff gave me a detailed recount of what happened, yet no one came to help me. Feeling unsafe and unsupported in your own place of residence is never fun. Do not recommend if you want a friendly community.

I would give this apartment complex 0 stars if I could. In our short time living here, we have had a concerning amount of issues with the building, management, unit and surrounding area that made us break our lease early. To name a few: 1. The construction noises made it nearly impossible to function day-to-day in our apartment. We worked from home and this affected our ability to carry out a full day of work- with the noise being too loud for meetings- starting as early as 7 a.m. The vast majority of the construction started after our lease began, and we were not made aware of all of the construction that would be happening in such close proximity to the building. The road blockages, noise, and debris have become increasingly aggravating. 2. There was a rancid smell coming from one of the units on our floor. This smell had been complained about, by us, visitors and neighbors that. It was almost impossible to breathe on our floor sometimes- and the smell even seeped into our unit. We notified the building of this several times- but no actions have been made by the unit to stop. 3. There was a group of children on our floor that would run down the hallway every night. They knock on our door and run away- disrupting us and my support animal. We have notified the adults and the building- but the group of kids continue to run and scream down the hallway. 4. The lobby door in the east building is usually left wide open or broken- allowing for non-residence to wander into the building. When the door is closed, the delivery people complain the building is non responsive to opening the door and they leave the packages sitting exposed on Broad Street. 5. Ever since the building name was changed from "Hanover" to "332 North Broad" we had issues receiving packages, food deliveries, and guests and ubers finding the apartment building. I am unsure why both buildings were named "332" when that is just simply not the east side's address and causes for so much unnecessary confusion. The front doors on the east building have "332" branding everywhere making it difficult to figure out that this building is "399 N Broad Street" for those who have never been here before.

Hi Lubna. I believe all units have a washing/dryer in unit. As far as drive its ~10 mins by car, 19 mins walk, 14 mins by Septa/walk. If you call them I am sure they can tell you prices.
