If you're looking for a wedding caterer in Northern Michigan look no further. Ginny and her team catered our Hotel Walloon wedding last month and we are so pleased with everything. The service was efficient, the food was warm and delicious and the staff did a phenomenal job overall. We were able to get a tasting prior to making the commitment which I found to be very comforting. Where should I begin! When we originally scheduled our wedding for 10/10/2020 prior to the unforeseen Covid-19 pandemic, we were quite at ease with the plans laid out for our wedding. Throughout the uncertainty of whether or not we would get to have our wedding at all, Ginny & Greg (the owners) were in constant communication with us throughout the entire process, going out of their way on several occasions to make arrangements for us that best suited our needs and made us feel assured that we would still get to have the wedding day we had been planning for over a year. When it came time for our wedding day, they delivered with tremendous service and even better food. We could not have asked for a better wedding day, or a more pristine venue to have all of our friends and family at! It truly was the best day of our lives and a large part of that was because of Matter of Taste. Thank you Greg and Ginny again for everything you did for us, and we look forward to coming back to visit for years to come.

We got married at Tapawingo back in 2018, and we loved everything about it. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Whether your wedding is inside or outside, it will be beautiful.
