I love this place. The BBQ ribs are outstanding. I ordered a 1/4 rack and trust me, it was larger than most 1/2 racks I have had from other places. It came with 2 sides and a drink for under $11.00!!! Their fried chicken is another awesome find. You get a HALF a CHICKEN!! You will find others who review and whine, gripe and complain that they do not take credit or debit cards. It's cash only and I don't mind a bit. The waitstaff is another stellar asset to this Mom and Pop place. Go there! Get the Ribs and try other items. I plan to do so Soon!!! 👋👋👋👋👋

I got Mary Lou’s dinner. It was not what I expected. Small portion of grilled chicken that was nothing special with beans and cole slaw. The beans were the best part of my meal. Our waitress zoomed by like she barely had time to stop and actually listen to what we were asking for. We go to pay at the register and find out it’s CASH or CHECK only. I said this would have been nice to know before we were seated. The lady at the register didn’t care and said there is a sign on the door that was propped open and on her register. You expect people to come into your establishment who haven’t been there and look at every sign in your business? Maybe actually make the effort to tell people since it’s 2021 and most people don’t carry an abundance of cash or have checks on them. Lady at the register, you’re rude and didn’t even care about my concern. You have a poor attitude and the reason for my review. The business only cares about their regulars and it shows.

We love K&L especially on Thursdays ... Chicken and Dumpling day! I recommend the K&L burger or the deluxe cheese burger and I know it's a sin but I love the brisket here!

Best BBQ ever!! Love the coleslaw, green beans, potato salad, hamburger steak, who am I kidding I love everything they fix (except for the livers because let's face it they're livers!).
