The mission of this salon is admirable and impressive. The ambiance of the salon is certainly refreshing and clean, health standards appear to be superior. As a first timer, I paid for the service of a HC Gel Pedicure. The tech was prompt to assist me, they made recommendations for color, and they shaped my cuticles and treated my callouses with much care. I was very disappointed however, to not have received any moisturizing foot massage— advertised on their website as “longer than average.” I only received a very brief sugar scrub. The overall service felt efficient, not relaxing. Additionally, the mandatory Gratuity of 25% on venmo or 28% on card is quite unreasonable, considering that the very definition of Gratuity is “something given voluntarily or beyond obligation usually for some service.” I understand this aspect of their services are listed in their FAQ/ things to know before the service, however I do not find it to be worth the high price. I’m disappointed to say that I will not be returning to Holy Chic + Co.

This is a cute nail salon with a fun aesthetic. Like, rustic wood and lots of plants with a clean, millennial edge. If low-tox polish is essential for you, their colors are really nice. I think they do cool nail designs, but I am very much a basic neutrals girl, so I can’t comment on that. I got a regular manicure and then an upgraded pedicure (at different times). The mani was done by a younger tech who was sweet, and though I wasn’t sure about someone with less experience, my nails looked great and the polish stayed strong for about a week with mid-range wear and tear. I got a pedi from Lotus and the conversation was as lovely as the pedi. I do think the low-tech vibe here threw me off. Don’t expect a massaging chair with five settings or a swooshy hot foot bath—pedis don’t involve foot baths.

I really enjoyed the concept of this salon, but I so was hoping it would be an exceptional experience, yet it fell from that expectation. The chemical free environment was perfect, it was inviting, and very comfortable. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful in accommodating throughout my entire visit. My technician was friendly and professional, yet lacked in some areas on my service. My complaints are towards the actual value of the service I received. I got the signature gel manicure and chic pedicure. Both were to involve a sugar scrub, massage, and callus care for my pedicure. The only thing I received was a simple sugar scrub, and a subpar hand massage that I had to remind her about After she completed my last service; didn't receive the foot massage, nor callus treatment. What really set it off, was the fact that she did not clean under my nails for either service and I even asked her if she was for my manicure and it still never happened. For the cost, I definitely expected more but ended up walking away not feeling relaxed nor taken care of and an unacceptable experience. I definitely suggest they look into speaking with their technicians about giving more in-depth treatment to their client

Ive been going to holy chic for a couple years now, and have seen Mikaela for probably the past year. When I say this is THE HEALTHIEST my nails have ever been, I truly mean it!! I was an avid nail biter for my entire life and Mikaela has truly helped me transform my nails. She is so detail oriented and truly cares about the health of your nails and gives you great pointers on at hole nail care. While I would love to get a manicure every 2 weeks, that’s not the reality of my life and I usually have to wait about a month between visits. Their application of gel polish is incredible and stays on for the entire time it takes between visits. I RARELY have any chipping or breakage between this time, which is incredible all in itself! The vibe of this salon is truly the best, and they make you feel so welcome. When you are not in deep conversation with my girl Mikaela, there are always solid jams playing for you to listen to. Overall I would rate my experience a 100000/10 and will absolutely be going back any chance I get!
