Bought my first Mutual of Omaha medigap policy in 2019 through Boomer Benefits. Monthly premium was good and they said increases were around 3% a year. In 2020 they raised the premium 17%. In 2021 they have raised it another 22%. 39% in two years? By 80 who will be able to afford it? The 3% quoted to me was a total falsehood. I sympathize with the reviewer that said her 100 year old aunt pays $540 a month. What is that? Half her SS check? These insurance companies make billions on our backs. It is why we need true universal health coverage for all citizens, you know, like countries that give a dam about their citizens and not massive profits for their shareholders and exorbitant salaries for CEOs. Updating this post for 2022. Premiums went up another 18%. Am getting out from under this company as soon as I can.

I believe the representative told me that as long as you're in as far as having coverage through them before the age of 80 years of age, it won't end or expire. You will be covered until the duration of your life, which is another reason why I chose them.

You can call them or work through an agent. It is not as easy as just adding there will be some questions as to current policy your age etc.
I'm not sure. It should be on your bill. Maybe in your email check in your junk mail for some reason it goes to the junk mail file. I have auto pay
