Just a update, ( 10/03/2022)they have gotten worst, did not think it was possible. That said, I have pump under West Marine PLUS program so here I am. 100 percent my fault for buying here….once I finish this transaction……. No, I will be back because sometimes you just have to have a part. Drop by and look at the store. In the employee’s defense they appear grossly unstaffed and under trained. A problem thru the Keys, the cost of living in paradise. Once again, West Marine in Key Largo has lived up to my expectations. I called first and had the customer rep check to see if the item was in stock. He told me there were 4 in stock. I immediately drove there but the West Marine reps could not find the item. I was actually told if I really wanted the item I should go to Markey's Marine. This is not the first time I was misled by West Marine and I only went because I had to have to product today. The reps had zero (0) knowledge of boating and -zero customer service skills. I have a Port Supply Account and I only go there when I have no choice and today I was reminded why. I realize this is a waste of time as most recreational boaters are going to go there to purchase items regardless of my review. The Key Largo location has been problematic for the last 15 years. I can't understand all those 5 stars ratings for local guides, so maybe it is just me.

The managers at West Marine in Key Largo were fantastic. They resolved a return issue within minutes that I have been dealing with for months with customer service. The store is fantastic the employees are friendly and the managers are exceptional. Thank you again Key Largo.
