My sweet August was not feeling very well. He was lethargic and not being himself. I called our normal vet and they couldn't get him in for a couple of days. I called Shadow Ridge and got August in within a half hour. They loved on him while waiting for the Dr. to see him. The cost was inexpensive and he is doing super good. Pleasant experience! They truly care about animals and it shows that they love what they do. The care during and contacts afterward were awesome! I highly recommend them! I scheduled an appointment fairly far in advance, and my cat's skin issue cleared up beforehand. I was not aware of their cancellation policy to get your deposit back (it's 24 hrs) I took my cat anyway for a general checkup, since she had been gagging over the weekend before anyway, and as a first time pet owner, I wanted to make sure she was okay and generally okay. The checkup was fast, the ladies who helped me were nice, and my cat, who is fairly anxious around new places, took to them pretty quickly. I am not going to be a long term NC resident, but if I was I would strongly consider making them my regular vet.

Our beloved cat was experiencing some behavior changes recently and not eating. Shadow Ridge worked with us tirelessly to try and diagnose and help our Denny. They were even more informative, kind and accommodating when we made the decision to put our senior cat to sleep.
