My child was referred here by our pediatrician and we saw Dr. Chelsey Huffman at the Mt Juliet office. The appt was fine and she referred us out to get an ultrasound on a growth near his spinal cord to make sure it was not growing into it before removal. They sent us out with a paper order and told us we could go anywhere. I promptly tried to schedule with a radiology office and it turns out the paper order did not have all the codes needed for the radiology office and insurance. I called Skin solutions 3 times, visited the office in person, sent messages on the portal spelling everything out what was needed and the office never would fax the correct order so we could get the procedure done. If you call you cannot speak to anyone actually in the office - just a call center. The radiology office called several times as well and they would just not send the order for some reason. It’s been 2 weeks now and we are going to just move on to another dr as we can’t keep waiting on something like this. Not sure if it’s just the MJ office but communication is awful and they cannot complete a simple task like faxing a complete order that they referred us out for.

Horrible experience just trying to book an initial appointment! When you call it's hard to get a hold of anyone. Booked online like they told me and then they called and left me a message that I need to confirm my appointment. When I called back 3 different time couldn't speak to anyone. They then left me a message that my appointment was canceled because I didn't confirm. Every time I tried to call back I had to leave a message. This has been a month process to book and day of they cancel! Crazy! Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else!

The office visit was nice. Nice staff, clean office. However, I was supposed to get 2 prescriptions for my son, topical and oral. The MDs original treatment plan was the topical. I asked for the oral, she agreed to do both. Only one was sent to my pharmacy, the oral. I have called 5 times trying to get someone on the phone to get the other to the pharmacy. The worst part of it all, they gave me another patients discharge paper. I didn't notice till I got to the pharmacy 1.5 hours away. Finally! Got hold of someone to tell me I was waiting on a call from another pharmacy... wonder if I would've known that if I had gotten the right discharge papers. Get in touch with the 3rd party pharmacy only to be told the script isn't covered by insurance. With no other options, thanks to MD. Would NOT recommend.
