My son was placed here and not one time did the physician, nurse or counselor reach out and communicate with me . I was listed as person to speak with. They took an unstable patient and treated what they thought was best without getting any background or thoughts from the people in his life. I am a nurse of 30 plus years and know communication is important.

My hubby Scott entered in bad shape. He came home genuinely changed for the better. Obviously it was not all sunshine and rainbows. That is an unrealistic expectation. Big picture is that his stay did him good. It saved him. It inspired him. Overall, the staff was wonderful. Most cared and it showed, even at the end of a 12 hour shift. The patients also cared about him and getting better themselves. The staff allowed the patients to self-direct much of what was done in the PM after dinner. The result was nothing but positive. Improvised support groups is how he described it. Also, he mentioned that the food was good and cafe staff cordial. Thank you.

This facility represents the failure of the health care system in Florida, to appropriately treat those who need mental health care. CS is just a cage for unfortunate ones who end up here. The incompetence and arrogance of the staff here is overwhelming. The treatment my son received here was detrimental to his well being. The way the staff at Coral Shores handled my son...may have cost him his life. and yes...my son took his own life.

This place is amazing! I attempted suicide, but these people helped me through it! The staff was amazing! We had activity time, and time with a Therapist, I felt really comfortable here! Anna was my favorite friend there! Nothing but great things here!
