I actually like to sit next to the Virgin Mary statue in front during the late night hours. I first started this walking by while thinking about it my relationship with my mother. I have no respect for women and I'm learning to earn this and gain it at the same time so I'll just sit next to the Statue and speak but not necessarily to the statue. I'm more so speaking to the idea, that if it was a woman I respected this would be first one to start considering it was Jesus's mother. It's helped me to understand a difficult situation seeing as I only know my point of view. It's also helps me to deal with anxiety seeing as I know how crazy it is to talk to an idea while sitting next to a statue. It helps because at any given point I can laugh and for my perspective its acceptable.
