A true oasis for all faiths! We were welcomed by the residents with a warmth and kindness that felt incredible. The grounds are astounding, and the vibrations are of peace, love and spirituality. Each faith has a little shrine, it was absolutely wonderful to walk thru the gardens and see every shrine. The gardens are kept in excellent shape and each statue is oiled to shine. They had Nivrati celebration and invited us to dinner. Such a kind and caring community!!

I love going to Kashi for their delicious Mother's Day vegetarian brunch. Sadly, they stopped doing it since Covid. I really hope they bring it back. I really miss it.

Kashi is a great place. The residents are all welcoming and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and it was really great to find a place where people of all faiths and cultures are welcome and encouraged on their own individual paths.

Yes we will. Please contact the Kashi office closer to the time for specific time and to register. Thank you for asking.
Yes Daniel. We used to have a hospice house for people with AIDS, not necessarily all gay. Thank you for the fundraisers. Those were awful and yet strangely brilliant days! Please come down and visit us any time. As Catherine says, Ma Jaya has passed away, but the community is vibrant and active. My name is Swami Dhumavati and I would be delighted to give you a personal tour if you would like it.
Namaste Kristina, Thanks for your inquiry about retreats etc. As Jan said, our next one day retreat is September 14, https://www.kashi.org/events/2019/5/11/may-one-day-yoga-retreat-9y9k6. We also have groups that come to Kashi and offer retreats that you could join. You can also come and visit anytime, take a walk around the temples, get to see the property. As Jan said, we have no activities for the month of August, but our office is still open 10-4 pm so you can check in there. I hope this helps. Swami dhumavati
No. If you are a part of a retreat program, they may serve you breakfast, but breakfast is not open to the public.
