Disappointed 😞... 6 months ago I would've absolutely rated this place 5 stars. I will start by saying there was ONE employee (didnt catch her name... long dark hair, thin, tall🤔💁‍♀️) this woman deserves 5 stars for her patience & kindness; during the visit that changed what would've been, a 5 star review, for the 1 star review you see before you. My 14 year old daughter and myself decided to seize the beautiful day and see if we could help out at the animal shelter. She, as well as myself, both have taken the necessary training. When we approached the 2 women behind the desk and told them our reason for being there, they were undoubtedly less than enthused. I won't quote but I believe she said something like no we don't have anything to do, it's done. Which don't get me wrong, that's great, hard workers, but as a dog owner that seems insane.🤯 However, there is nothing at all you can find for this responsible young lady, who chose to spend her spring break volunteering, to do? 🤨 Okay...after "sensing" my irritation, (mom's right?🤷‍♀️!) they point to (the 5 star employee i mentioned earlier🙌👏🙏👍) and instructed her to take us to the cats and see if we could do anything there. Wonderful, now we are getting somewhere. My daughter did feel SLIGHTLY comforted by being able to comfort lonely cats for a FEW minutes but it was clear we weren't wanted. As a child, a former employee helped reunite me with my runaway cat. For that I'll be forever grateful but this company is no longer that beloved business. These angry, bitter women pushed the final button by snarling the phrase "did u get to pet the kitties"... to my 14 year old daughter. Ma'am, she's not 3, it was disrespectful and I'm beyond disappointed by your inability to show kindness to a goal oriented, intelligent (high honor roll not to toot her horn but🥳🎺) and bright eyed young lady. Shame on you for not leaving your negativity at the door, and for sprinkling your hatred on top with your insulting comment. May you find some peace, in what I believe is a career choice that undoubtedly, thrives with compassion. 🐶🐱

Very kind, they know how to care for the animals with love and kindness. Very clean place indoors and out.
