TLDR: The Banks at Bridgewater is an amazing place to live with spacious layouts, community events, and engaged/caring staff. If you’re searching for the perfect place to live, you’ve found it. For those looking for a more in-depth review, continue on. Apartment Complex Overview: The complex has strong resort vibes, with its luxury pool, ample palm trees, and stylish finishes. The common area is beautifully decorated and is very welcoming. The workout room is open 24/7 and is full of high-end equipment. There is a wonderful walking path that spans the length of the entire complex, a gated dog park with wash basin, gas fireplace, outside grill area, pickle board court, and more! Everything screams luxury, comfort, and relaxation. Sounds: One of the most important items for me was not hearing my neighbors as I work from home and need to be free of distractions. Speaking as a 3rd floor resident, my unit is almost completely silent. I very rarely hear my neighbors, with the occasional exception of hearing a kitchen cabinet door shut. That said, sound does travel through the main entry door, so you can hear when your neighbors take out the dogs and they bark, or when people are talking loudly outside your door. I have yet to hear Music/TV/Movies from my neighbors, nor any personal conversations, vacuums, washer/dryers, or moving of furniture. Resident Events: The staff here really goes above and beyond for the events, from amazing décor, DJs, live performances, food, and beverages. Not all events are swanky/over the top, even just simple events like a food truck, karaoke, or popcorn/wine night makes a big difference in feeling like a community rather than just a typical “apartment complex”. Staff: What makes this complex special is the staff that works here. They are caring, attentive, kind, and take pride in providing an amazing experience for the residents. I always have a positive experience speaking with the staff, regardless of if it’s for something I need, or just chatting. But I do want to give some special shoutout to a few people that I have worked with extensively: Cheryl: My guardian angel. Cheryl was the person I spoke to the most prior to my actual move-in date, and I inundated her with phone calls, questions, and updates/confirmations. Cheryl was always positive, upbeat, reassuring, and supportive – it really made me not only feel better about making such a big move, but also that I made the right choice for my new apartment home. When I finally arrived, and every day since, Cheryl has been so welcoming, going above and beyond to make me feel at home. Cheryl is also the main creator behind resident events, providing her amazing eye for design/décor which makes the events that much more special. In my eyes, she is the “glue” that holds the complex together and makes The Banks what it is today. It’s rare to find someone that cares or does as much as Cheryl does! Wayne M: During a severe lightning storm one day, I not only lost power but also had breakers trip. When power came back on, my AC did not. I called the maintenance line and Wayne called me back immediately, despite it being after midnight. He was at my apartment 30 mins later to do troubleshooting. It had to be escalated to the HVAC team, and it was a lengthy fix the next day, but Wayne checked in with me every step of the way! He exceeded my expectations for a maintenance request and I appreciate him connecting on a personal level rather than just “fix it and get out.” Final Thoughts: The Banks is by far your best option of an upscale apartment in the Little River/NMB area, that is only 5 minutes by car to Cherry Grove Beach. You will feel like you’re on vacation every day when you live here. The complex is brand new, looks amazing, and the staff does everything in their power to make this a special place to live. A huge thank you to everyone at The Banks for everything you do on a daily basis – you’re all appreciated more than you know!
