Walked into the hotel and it was hot and muggy. Got to the the room and it was for lack of a better word, DISGUSTING! The sheets had makeup smears and didn’t seem to have been changed. There was a very overwhelming smell of bleach but nothing was clean. All the flat surfaces were sticky and had residue from something that was set on them. Clearly NOT cleaned. Should’ve stayed at a Motel 6 or a Super 8 for half the cost. This hotel is definitely advertised better than it actually is. We shouldn’t have felt the need to go buy cleaner to clean a HOTEL ROOM. Also… the pool was smaller than it looks in photos. The pool lights weren’t even set in the pool wall. They were floating with all the wiring hanging out. The paint around the pool and hot tub was chipping into the nasty looking water and there was other things floating in the water that were unidentifiable. The tables and chairs were dirty and sticky just like everything in the room. The towels also smelt like mildew. Their breakfast selection was limited but not terrible if you don’t mind your food being lukewarm or eating stale cereal. I do not recommend staying here. Especially for the prices they charge. We were charged $178 for one night with a military discount. They also tried to get us to change our room request. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and they were very pushy when trying to convince us to stay in a room with 1 king bed.

If there was a way to put 1/4 of a star I would. Do not stay here! You are much better off staying in your car for the evening. My reservation was cancelled at another hotel due to being sold out so I decided to stay here rather than drive 30 miles in the dark and heavy rain to what I deemed more acceptable accomodations. I decided to take a chance and stay here. I've never stayed at a Baymont Inn and definitely will not do so again. I typically try to avoid Wyndham properties because its rare that im ever happy with my accomodations. From my experience they are typically dated and filthy no matter the state or town . Not only is this property dilapidated but it is also DIRTY which is unacceptable in a COVID-19 landscape. A disgusting plunger in a plastic bag in the bathroom, dirty tile, old flimsy pillows stuffed with foam that made my allergies go into overdrive. Musty air, dusty vents .DINGY towels, dirt and hair everywhere. To add insult to injury the " manager" Mr. Patel wouldn't add my loyalty plan number to the reservation because I belong to a corporate travel group, Saying that they don't allow points as if that was up to him , very rude. If Wyndham decides nit to give me points let them decide. He also made assumptions about my profession which is none of his business asking if i drove a 18 wheeler, which I do not, but so what if I did? I routinely get points for travel at every other hotel I've ever stayed at unless the rate was deeply discounted which this one was not! If I'd booked directly it actually would have been cheaper according to what I saw online. He ignored my request to add my loyalty number gave me my key and just told me where the elevators were. The lobby was dirty, tile had dirty grout lines, the elevator was sticky and everything just felt gross. I couldn't sleep because I didn't feel comfortable and with the dirty conditions, I will not attempt to have breakfast because if what I can see with the naked eye is so disgusting there is no telling what one can expect is going on behind the scenes.

There are stains in the comforter covered by a red overlay. I believe the owners live in the hotel and use their own kitchen for their own meals They told me that there are no meals in this hotel and he was not even offering coffee in the lobby.. not what I expected from a Marriott especially when their signs outside as well as online says they do offer breakfast. They don't vacuum on a daily basis but they do come in and clean your toilet daily.

My mother and I stayed there on 03/28/22. We had such a good experience. It was clean, the bed was super soft, and we liked being able to check on the car out the window. We wanted to be able to use the pool and jacuzzi which looked really nice, but didnt have time. It was dog friendly too and nice benches in the back of the hotel to relax. They didnt have breakfast, but this could be solved easily by getting some little wrapped muffins or something pre packaged to leave out. There is a Cracker Barrel 1min away!
