Great park we went to splash pad yesterday but didn't like the fact we had to do a bag check and the guy went through my bags to check for idk what. And the handicap parking is a little far but it was a wonderful place. They do get you on you you cannot bring a cooler into splash pad but there are picnic areas close.

Kayaked the Lynches River from the park, where there is a gravel lot close to the water, down to the boat ramp on Hwy 52. About a 2 1/2 hour float with some paddling. Very nice little float.

It's so beautiful here love love love it. Update for my bday in May 22 my husband rented us a cabin to stay the weekend in so I could do all the fishing I wanted to. Even though the river was very low and we didn't catch but a car and a soft shell turtle I still needed this vacation and do plan on returning even if it's only for fishing

We've been to this park a few times now. We always enjoy it. Nice boardwalk down by the river that takes you through the woods. 2 decent size walking trails. You can rent cabins. There is also a water park for kids. The nature center is really neat. They have life snakes, turtles and an alligator. There is also a treetop rope course bridge you can walk across.

I have never known anything there other than rentals to cost anything
Can't ride nothing now... Its closed from the floods that came during the hurricane
Yes there is. There are 3 hook up sites that include power and water but no sewer or dump stations. There are 7 tent sites that have no power or water.
Cabins are $60/night Sun-Thurs and $70/night Fri and Sat nights
Yes. You can fish near the canoe launch, cabins and pretty much anywhere or you can try under the bridge that is off the main road getting there. There is a boat ramp and dock. If you veer from the populated areas keep watch for snakes.
You may be able to find something in the information shop they have out there. I guess it depends on the type of gift you want to get. There may be books or pens, etc. I'm so sorry, I am just not sure. There is a nice place to go out there to go check out that should be interesting. Please go visit this nice place. They have put a lot of work into it. Thx.
As far as I know, yes.
Probably not
Yes from 9:00 until 2:00 I believe - you go down river a few miles and they pick you up at clearly marked spot. It's about a 2 hr trip. And reasonable priced!
They don't have a pool anymore, but there is a splash pad with a minimal charge.

Prices went up May 1. It's $10 per night for a regular site and $20 a night for the 2 sites with electric and water. I only tent camped. I don't know about the cabins.
