Worst bedside manners I have ever seen. Very threatening if you feel like you should get a second opinion...a lesson I learned. We were hearing things like our child will never run, skip or jump. That she'd she'd in braces til age 7 or longer. She was only 4 months old at the time so hearing that with the type of condition she had was a red flag for us. Just didn't didn't sense. We decided to get a second opinion and my gosh did she express her opinion about not only me and my husband but our child and our future. Seeing someone's personality flip like that in the medical field was alarming. Also there is a salesman in her office joining in on your appointments. Not only is he not a doctor but he will refuse his full name and the company he works for. Just a weird situation. We got the second opinion and turns out 5 months after leaving her office our daughter was standing, walking and running. She ran into us outside of the office and asked how things worked out for us. I was excited to tell her how wrong she was. She said "oh wow that's great" and walked away. It felt good. 4 years later my daughter has been out of braces since age 2. Runs, kicks, climbs, skips and more with zero issues! With this said, she did an amazing job with our child's surgery, but beyond that I wouldn't stay with her throughout recovery or at least reach out for a second opinion about your recovery.

I went and saw the PA. He pretty much called me fat. And wanted to give me something that would rise my blood sugars. But would not do a MRI.

Dr. Boyette knew my injury wasn't because of my height and weight it was due to a fall at work!!.

Brought my son not once but twice about pain in his limb. Dr boyette and a pa performed a quick exam and since he wasn't in pain at time brushed it off as growing pains/virus related. As any mother would do I went to Duke, where my son was diagnosed with Legg-Calve-Perthes disease. The doctor knew as soon as she touched his hips it was there not his knee. After a quick xray we got our answer. Also she has terrible bedside manner and I asked Dr. Boyette should we get a xray of his hip and she stated that would be unnecessary radiation.
