The student who did my hair was amazing. What she did not know she went and got help on before she proceeded. She got my 4c hair flat like I have a relaxer. Amazing customer service. The educator there she was amazing with helping her students. I definitely will be back.

Do not attend this school! I was enrolled in the master cosmetologist course and I don’t know where to begin. The website for the school made this place seemed idea to attend, but once enrolled in the course this place is the complete opposite. The building is falling apart. The ceiling leaks there is a dead animal scent as well. You would have to purchase all of your supplies including books. Entirely different from what the website says. There is no structure and you’ll have to teach yourself while making monthly payments. There is only one instructor and a current student who is teaching students and he is not a certified instructor. Just because he colors his wife hair she made him a instructor. The school day consists of about thirty minutes to an hour of ethics (learning in the classroom) and the rest of the time you’re on the floor doing live clients(her clients). When our class began she had us on the floor doing live clients before we had our required hours needed before we could engage with clients. I lost a lot of money attending this school. $200 application fee, $1,000 down payment and I had to pay $755 monthly for master cosmetology. I pay the application fee, down payment and one month. I refused to pay any else after I saw that she wasn’t teaching us anything. After all the money I spent to start this school you’ll think that a basic kit would be provided, but that wasn’t the case. Myself and another student had to approach her about kits because we were tired of pouring money out. She gave us the bare minimum items: a few combs, clips, a mannequin head and scissors. We were basically reading chapters on our own and taking tests and then cutting classroom time because she would have her clients schedule early. Honestly I think only two people fully paid her and went to state boards. It’s all about money with her. She wouldn’t sign off on a student before me paperwork because she couldn’t finish paying her and she had all her required hours. Making payments you had to deal with a man from another country named Marc. He handled the student portal and when you took tests on chapters grades would go missing. It was always something with the portal. You have to screenshot your scores just in case they’ve lost them. You also have to take pictures of your time cards. I say if you’re going to spend money on your future career do your research and pick a better school than this one. I could speak on more, but that would take days. Teresa does not connect with her students. She be too busy re twisting dreads. I honestly didn’t learn one single thing from her. Bill does not know the chemistry behind hair coloring. He once ran out of product when he was demonstrating hair coloring to new students and some of the hair was left uncolored. Ms. V is the heart of this school. She is the only good thing about this place. She is an amazing master cosmetologist and barber. This was the worst experience I had with a school.

Loved my customer experience here! My appointment was quick and efficient. The customer service is great, the staff and students are all very friendly. Only thing is be sure to wear a mask to protect yourself during COVID times since it's a school there are people in and out and it's a busy place.
