Excellent!! Learned about Harckers island, early fishing industry, huricanes of the area and waterfowl. Museum entrance was free don't miss the widow's watch.. wonderful views

Can you tell me if this is open due I heard of some damages done due to the hurricane last year.

No, the museum is not open currently as it did sustain heavy damage from Hurricane Florence. We have tentatively scheduled the grand reopening for Easter 2020. Thank you for asking. We do have a retail shop, have programming and art classes at 806 Arendell Street, Morehead City. Also, check our website and facebook page for the latest updates.

Seems closed permanently after Florence. Is museum still going to operate?
