Was pretty bummed to see so much trash. There was a huge pile of trash at trailhead here. The small parking lot was also littered with trash and throughout the trails where we camped along the river. Really wish people would take everything with them as there are no trash cans for a reason. 😞

These mountains are beautiful. We came up to see the waterfalls sadly we didn't get to see any of them. Signs in the park are almost nonexistent. There's no trail head signs only a "map" in a parking lot that doesn't even have a compass on it to get you started. This was after driving around for 1.5 hours and going 45 miles because of bad signs. What was supposed to be a easy trail ended up with us climbing over long ago fallen logs walking in a squat through a tree tunnel (pretty but not something my parents could do). All that and a dead end to a campfire ring and no waterfall. Disappointed in the park service here. In other places they usually have a sign on the road saying the names of the attraction so you know you're headed in the right direction and then at the least a trail head sign with maybe a distance. SC you need to step up your parks. They are beautiful, make it functional.

Loved it. Just gotta be in shape to walk back up the hill lol. Nice and quiet place. Not to close to the other campers. Did use to go to grapevine, but it done went down hill.

A great place to start adventuring along and around the Chattooga River. King and Spoonager Falls are very close and a ton of hiking options

It's a grated road but if you've altered the vehicle I'd probably not try it. My mini van does just fine
