I was finally able to try this place to see what it’s all about since it has such a high rating, and I can see why. They definitely deserve the ratings, I’d say it’s one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to here in Jacksonville. Let me start of with the environment, very clean and cozy. It’s not really a big restaurant but it’s a perfect place for date and eating with your friends. Like any other Japanese restaurants, it is a bit pricey but it’s WORTH IT! We didn’t really have a wait time when we came in, however they can be pretty busy. I tried their yellow tail and shrimp nigiri, I don’t know why but the sushi melts into your mouth. The yellow tail had its flavor as well not like buffet nigiri where the taste of the fish is bland. We went here for lunch so we got bento box as well. The bento box was worth it! It’s enough to make your stomach full. It came with California rolls and again the sushi melts into your mouth, I am definitely going back to try their other sushi. We actually came back for dinner and I got the Yaki Udon, it was perfect! Very tasty. My husband got chicken Katsu again and he loved it! There’s something different about their chicken Katsu that I can’t pinpoint but you can definitely tell that it is fresh made. Their sauce for chicken Katsu is great as well, it tasted like a sweet bbq sauce. Can’t wait to try more of their food!
