I can’t imagine our life without this church. You are surrounded by real people that wont let you go through life alone. I cant tell you how many times someone has just been quiet and sat with me like Jesus or given me wisdom and guidance that they had no idea I had been praying for. This church doesn’t let you do life alone and we need that, we need each other and most importantly we need a safe place where we aren’t judged or ridiculed by our sins but loved DEEPLY with patience and kindness while we walk this life long journey of becoming Christ like. At First Church, your home. You are free to let go and heal, to lay it all at His feet no matter what you’ve done or where you have come from. You will be wrapped in so much love, fervently prayed for and if needed, pointed in the direction of people who have been in your shoes so you don’t walk alone. This congregation has such a huge heart and deep love for their community and congregation you cant help but to feel like a family and want to do life with them while serving the community and growing in God together. This place is the very definition of toxic Christianity. Definitely not the place to go if you are looking to experience the love of God. Some of the church members seemed nice enough but the message was extremely problematic at best and in no way reflected the loving nature of God. I pray for those who seek solace and comfort here.
