We have stayed at the Econolodge in Cornersville twice a year for about 4 years. This stay will be the last. The clerk was very friendly and helpful but that was the only good thing. All kinds of vacant rooms but they put us next to an extended stay family with kids playing outside until 9:00 pm and adults talking loudly outside until 10:00. The room given to us was a handicap room with no closed of toilet and shower. We asked for another room but the clerk said "I don't have any other rooms that you can have a dog. Microwave looked like it was from the 70's and did not work. Clerk got us another one. Faucet was pulled loose from the sink and you had to hold it with one hand and turn the faucet handle with your other hand. We were unloading into the room and our friendly dog wandered out to the sidewalk. One of the staff who could barely speak English said put the dog in room. Why? Wifi did not work. The finishing touch was noticing the at the smoke detector had been removed. Never Never Never again, even if it was free.

The hotel room was very dirty - everywhere! Light switches, doors, floors, bathtub.... all dirty. The additional lock on the door was broken, missing a screw. The toilet would not flush properly. I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless absolutely necessary. The lady who checked us in was very pleasant, the only pleasant thing about this hotel.

Looks can be very deceiving, this by far is the most disgusting place that I have ever stayed in! From cigarettes burns in the comforters to just bad housekeeping. I refused to take a shower because it was plain disgusting. I only took a few pictures . There are no words to describe the room. Also there is a deposit of $250. 00 per room. Yes that's correct $250.00 in case something gets missing. I waited to post this review so that they wouldn't charge me for this review. You ask for a itemized room count for whats in the room just in case something is missing, they cannot provide said information. So just be wary. I had 2 rooms. If something would've been missing it would have costed $700.00 for 1 night for both rooms.

The room was not what was pictured. I was travelling with my mother and son and did not feel the lock on the door was secure, I laid awake all night listening to the two of them sleeping, and watching the door. I understand this is the owners livelihood, I hope they can make improvements to the rooms and locks. It's in a good spot for late night travelers who need a break. The front desk clerk was friendly.

Ever had bedbugs?

If you look through the photos, I actually took a pic of a certification they have for being bedbug free. The building isn't brand new but it was a very nice place for stopping overnight on our vacation trip. No sign of any bugs and I always check for signs of bedbugs!
