Not so crowded and wider area to swim in. Water isn't as deep and its a little "bubbly" from the water coming over the dam.

Love going there free place to swim you can kayak on your own or through river rats / they also have a float on the river or you can swim at harbor mills but it's a lil deeper

This spot is a great getaway to just relax. I went here with the Intent of fishing for some bass, and unfortenly it's not the best fishing spot. HOWEVER this is a very great place to just relax and enjoy nature. The place was fairly clean... I would wear shoes because there was shattered glass here and there. It does take some effort to get to the actual dam because of the rocky turran, but it was well worth it! Great place for kayaking. Make sure to use the milltown road entrance.
