Lake Ann State Forest Campground

Did not camp but hiked around and looked it over. It's a beautiful lake but I didn't really see a good swimming area. There is places you can swim but you almost have to be in the water or at camp, no lounging around the lake or beach. Great hiking trails and good boat ramp. Main complaint is the campground is tight and worn out.

Great trail for hiking and running. I was on an electric bike and really enjoyed it. There is some sand and sticks on the trail. There are low branches in areas but the trail is not busy and is a break from the usual.

Many rustic and private camping sites. I prefer to tent camp and carry my kayaks down to Lake Ann for one of the most peaceful camping and paddling experiences in the TC area!
