Took 2 visits. I moved from out of state and I did not have the correct paper work the first time. Agents were very helpful and fast. I have never seen a DMV operate so quickly and efficiently. I dealt with two agents one was, Tammy and the other was a young man in his twenties. Sorry I did not get his name. Both were courteous and skilled. Five stars to each!

Efficient staff but all hand sanitizers for public were empty

I was a walk-in....but it didn't really matter, I didn't have a great wait. The lady that helped me was very nice. I went to get my driver's license and I succeeded. It is a very nice place to visit 😊

Much better than the Garberville DMV. Really nice and professional staff, that were very helpful. You may have to wait a little longer but worth it to not deal with rude unprofessional attitudes.

Do I need to make appointments for testing my drive license? I move from Minnesota
Go online and you can view or cancel appt
You actually have to call the 800 number at 1-800-777-0133 and folow the prompts
For the way things are at the moment the DMV is pretty slow during the week days I would just pop in and the workers there will help
No.
You can go to R & B Auto Registration Service in Blue Lake. They are a licensed Business Partner, but a service fees do apply. 668-5530
No it comes in the mail they say a week to two weeks although ive been waiting on mine for over a month now
You dont have to but you'll wait longer if you don't.
I believe you can. You will apply for a driver's test. I just took my test the other day. It was all done in 30 minutes. I went on a Friday right when the office opened!
8am
Yes. In many cases the nonimmigrant can apply for a driver's license but should consult with the local DMV and DSO before applying. The DMV requires a nonimmigrant to present supporting documentation, such as an EAD card, validating the duration of stay in the country.Sep 5, 2012
There is a 1800 I believe and you can call and there is a option to have then call you back instead of waiting. Just Google dmv and go from there
Yes you do
Found it. Dmv is closed.
If your going to the Eureka DMV, most days it's not that busy. So I'd say no but it's always a good idea to make an appointment at a DMV so 🤷🏻♀️ I tried to make an appointment and the system was so messed up I just had to end up going in. I was there maybe 20 min but I just had to pay registration. Good luck.
They do give presidents to the appointments however it's hit and miss it's really how much patience u have. Sorry truth sux sometimes
Does not take place only in parking lot. There are nice neighborhoods nearby with stop signs, street lights and other things including parking. Suggest you practice in several neighborhoods around town. Good luck... you'll be fine.👍
Not sure but you can call them or check online.
If its past the expiration date yes.
Still have to go through all the steps. Go into dmv, fill out salvage forms, brake and light check, probably smog, etc, then pay costs and registration
If it's a new car to you (title transfer)...yes, or if the registration has long since lapsed...yes. if it is a registration renewal then no.
Not a good idea. Unless your already late, then it wouldn't hurt.
Well to get a car license plate replace they replace both of them and the last time I did it. It was 22 dollars I believe.
Go to DMV apply for a new one, you will probably have to pay 37$ i think.
Yes I believe they did have booklets . Good Luck!
As of 3 weeks ago they were still taking walk in.
Yes it is
Check your driver's manual also check ca.dmv.org
Yes you can but have your birth certificate ready to hand them. And I think that it cost about 35 dollars.
You are supposed to have it done within 30 days.
I went there yesterday without appointment for my DL, but I recommend you to go early in the morning.
Eureka DMV inside Bayshore Mall. No appointment needed, go before 4pm.
No, u could but u don't. they have a cool gizmo and everything, it's not bad.
I went in yesterday to check on my license that hadn't shown up. They let me in and I took care of it. W no appointment.
Set sn appointment online to renew your id
You need an appointment for everything, except I.D renewals. But once you're in it goes fast, just have all your paperwork and everything identification wise up front
Call them, i know right now they have limits on what they are allowed to do.
I don't think so, that's one of the things you have to do in person. But check the DMV website to make sure. I don't know if the office is even open now. Good luck! 😊
Just go get it smog certified. Seems like you can vary the steps to keeping your vehicle up to date, tho eventually you have to do them all. Hit up a smog spot. Have them smog your vehicle. Wallah! If you need any other steps, they will let you know what you need to do to have your vehicle up to par.
Not that I know of...the best thing to do is make an appointment on the website, then it won't make much difference if they're busy :)
I don't think you have to get a RealID when you renew your Drivers License yet, but I'm not 100% sure. You may not have to get your birth certificate specifically, there are other documents you can use.
Prob should be it's not actually a holiday
If you go in the entrance near the bus stop it'll be on your left...
Social security card, birthday certificate and money.
Online.there is a area to make a appointment.often times they do not have slots though.
Maybe your registration OR the lifescan licenses?
Motor vehicle report.
You walk inside and stand in line, to get a number , unless you have a previous appointment online. There's a separate line on the left for online appointments or scheduled appointments, otherwise you got the big old line
No you don't need one. But you can't start taking the CDL test after 3PM.
Just make a new appointment, or drop in when you have time. I don't believe there is a penalty for letting your license expire (unless you get pulled over driving on an expired license), and no penalty for missing an appointment. I recommend making an appointment... I did it online and had to reschedule twice and it was no problem. The important thing is having all your documents in order.
Not sure but as long as you have the title. It should be just fine.
My car has a smog sticker on it when I bought the car. Just got the renewal and no smog.
Yes you can
The seller pays for everything and that includes tags. But you will have to pay back fees if you buy from a impound yard.
Look on website
Yes. Possibly shortened hours, but they're definitely open.
No
Do I need a appointment to take a writing test for my driver license
Not for written test, but you will if they say you need to do a driving test.
Senior I.D.?
Go on the website. You can view or cancel your appt
Yes
Go into your local dmv office and fill out a renewal form which can usually be found up front but you can ask at the desk if you cant find the proper forms. You'll have to pay a renewal fee depending on what state your in varie for the amount
Not to my memory. It's on file if you have a valid I D. 30 to 50 for the reissue fee.
