Regarding our Covid safety practices: We are still limiting the number of people in our store, but the majority of time, you will be able to get in without an appointment. If you want to be guaranteed a day & time in the store, we highly recommend that you make an appointment so that we can set aside a reservation for you. Our front door is closed and locked at all times, whether there is a wait or not, and we continue to require that you wear a mask over your mouth and nose, and use a dab of hand sanitizer before entering the store. We, our staff, and our many visitors and customers appreciate that we are all trying to be as safe as possible around each other. Thank You for asking the question!

Hi Daniel, We primarily repair Birkenstocks and have been for 40+ years, but if you bring them in, we'll have a better idea of whether or not we can repair them. If we can't, there are three full-service boot and shoe repair shops in Missoula; Grizzly Boot (549-1555), Logan's (721-3182), and Lloyd's (721-7551).

Hello Debbie. Sorry to say that we no longer carry any Red Wing Boots or Shoes. 70% of our sales are for women's footwear, and only 30% for men. And getting men in the store to buy work boots and work shoes just did not pan out in our store, and at our location. Hello Mike. We did shoe repair for 3 months in 1979 when we moved from South of the river to north of the river, to where we are now. Then I sold the shoe repair part of the business to my shoe repairman (Stan Logan), who opened as "Logan's Boot & Shoe Repair" on the 100 S 3rd W Block, west a few doors from Shakespeare Bookstore. There is also a shop behind Spakle Laundry on S Higgins (next to Hellgate High School - Archer's Shoe Repair), and one further South, off Russel (Lloyd's). They've all been in town since the 70's. That said, some take longer to do repairs than others. Sometimes TOO long! I would get a solid commitment for an exact (or nearly exact) date of completion (which some may not want to give).
