My husband and I LOVE Southwest, they are byfar the cheapest airline we see EVERY time we go to fly, just wish they went even more places! With the $ you save on the flight you can pay to upgrade seats if you want, plus you get 2 free checked bags that cost you $30/35 with any other airline. The checkin/boarding is meh, but again, they are the cheapest airline that seems to give the most we feel. You also get a snack/drink on most flights, and I've NEVER been on a flight yet (and I've been on many) where the service was anything less than phenomenal. Everyone is always so nice, we will continue to be return customers whenever possible.

I had a flight to Florida in a couple of weeks for a family memorial and with everything going on and the measures businesses and Ada County is taking to help curve the rona, I am unable to travel as planned. I am not able to get a refund, and I am unable to transfer the credit to someone who actually flies regularly (because I prefer not to be packed in like a sardine) so Southwest just gained $330. Told me they care and do not charge to cancel, but, why would you have to when you refuse to make exceptions for current conditions that no one is able to control? Then I found a link on the app that said something about selling my information. I clicked on it and had to fill out a form to prevent southwest from selling my information to third parties. I’m not impressed. At all. There is no “we care about the customer” and it clearly shows deep down behind the smiling employees and free snacks.
