My first lip filler injections were today, and I couldn't be happier! Because I was so anxious about the injections, the entire staff was encouraging. When Dr. Roel applied two layers of numbing cream, he took the time to make me feel at ease, which I greatly appreciated. I'm thrilled with the results and plan on returning soon. I appreciate your generosity and patience. Natural-looking lips are just what I've been looking for all my life!

Having researched and read online reviews, I decided to go to Lasting Impressions Aesthetic Spa. I'm so pleased I did!! Dr. Roel was highly educated and helpful. The only thing he asked of me was for me to follow his advice. I had Botox, and the doctor made it look as natural as possible, which was exactly what I was looking for. Enamored!! No doubt about it, I'll be returning.

Doctor Galope is delicate and won't leave you with bruising from her touch. He pays attention to what you have to say. There isn't a shaky-eyed look on his face.

When it comes to injectables, Dr. Galope is an expert. The injections were quick and painless, and the site was perfect. Even though I've been having Botox for a long time, this was still the most satisfactory treatment ever!

You can have botox treatments applied in any number of different areas of your face. These include your forehead, area around the eyes (crows feet), and lines around the lips. We also often use botox in patients who want to soften or reduce a dimpling of their chin. If you suffer from TMJ or if you grind your teeth, botox can help treat the ailment by lessening the pain. Is A Botox Treatment Painful? A Botox treatment is generally NOT considered painful! Some of our patients report a very brief period of minor discomfort during the injection, this quickly goes away once the Botox treatment is completed.
Botox is a "neuromodulator" (a type of botulinum toxin type A) that is injected into selected areas of treatment using a very small needle. Basically, how it works is by blocking signals to the nerves needed for your facial muscles to contract. When your face repeatedly contracts its facial muscles it leads to the wrinkle and lines. Once the botox treatment is applied, the neuromodulator relaxes these facial muscles and slows and lessens their movement to help reduce the appearance of lines or wrinkles in the treated areas. Results will be visible in roughly three to five days following the botox treatments.
