Don't come in here even during off hours of you have somewhere to be. Staff has plenty of time to talk and takes 10 minutes to serve a bowl of soup, slop it on the napkins, no butter and no knife. Not the service I expect from Panera.

I tend to like Panera overall, but this last visit wasn't great. The food tasted old, and their value for the money has gone down, in my opinion. I used to love getting the .99 pastry if you bought a meal and drink, but I saw on this last visit that even though they still have a version of that, most of what is available for the reduced price bakery treat is cookies. No cinnamon roll. No cherry pastry. It was disappointing, especially because the prices at Panera have steadily climbed over the past couple years, at a rate that doesn't seem to match inflation. It's more expensive for me to eat at Panera now than to go to some of the nicer chain sit down restaurants (the kind where there's a server that comes to the table). This has led to a decline in how often I go to Panera. I probably won't give it up entirely, but Panera is no longer my first choice for lunch.

I have had a few bad experiences here. Several with my breakfast pick up order in which i wrote to panera about. Also, with the area it is in, if you go in right at lunch time expect not to have anywhere to sit and to wait a very long time for your food. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and had to eat it standing up in the corner. I would stop going but it is very convenient for the area.

I came in for a sandwich and a drink. Simple enough, right? Apparently not. The staff there seemed to be too interested in videotaping their social habits and playing around. One girl was discussing what her plans were on her day off and how hungry she was. Well.... thanks. So am I. When I got my food it was decent but slightly cold. Considering it took forever it get the food in the first place, it was frustrating. I don't think I will be going back to this Panera bread. It seems like their employees need more training and more quality food.
