Beautiful setting, somewhat challenging trails, cool historical homestead now forested. Many glacial boulders to see & large beaver pond.

Some very cool woods with plenty of interesting highlights. I'd love to come back in the summer months to better see the terrain. Lots of interesting rocks and rock placements. Balancing rock is spectacular and big bump has some fun little overlooks. We didn't get a chance to see the falls, as we were starting to lose daylight. Had the place all to ourselves. I have a feeling it can be quite wet and muddy in parts during the warmer months. A few reviews mention poorly marked trails, but we didn't have any issues. The main trails and highlights are clearly marked.

A very nice and quiet place to go on a hike. The parking is difficult as there aren't many options and it's in a residential area so there isn't a parking lot.

Main trail is well marked but there are lots of game trails and side trails that we got turned around in. Sometimes getting lost is fun though and it was a nice change from the beach scene. Much cooler in the woods. Bugs weren't bad. This time of season the waterfall was more of a trickle but hey its end of summer.

I did see people with their dogs on the trail. So I would say yes.
I don't think so........it's a conservation area and typically hunting is not allowed
