I drove in on a whim from out of town to play in their sectional tournament. I had no partner, and only a phone number for the partnership chairperson, but everyone there went out of their way to make me feel welcome and find someone for me to play with. I played with five different partners in five different events, and they were each pleasant and proficient. I had a wonderful time and am looking forward to their next tournament.
