I love hiking around Chamna. I grew up in this s area and spent more nights fishing and camping along this area than I can remember. There is a great trail that hugs the river. There are also several more trails used by hikers and mountain bikers. The bikers are extremely courteous. The make it known they are coming way before they get to you. They truly are a great and friendly community.

Absolutely beautiful. After parking head straight towards the river for a beautiful walk along the Yakima River. Smaller trails lead in and out of banks of the river. Squirrels, water fowl, even a deer or two are easily spotted if you walk quietly.

Beautiful and fairly easy to walk. There are a lot of trails to choose from as well as trails for mountain biking. Wetlands and dry arid sagebrush come together to make a unique and gorgeous natural preserve area. There are no trash cans along the trails so pack out your trash and doggie poop bags.
