Wenatchee River County Park

Wenatchee is a beautiful county park with FHUs and spacious level sites aligned in a circular pattern that allows for a lot of privacy. The CG is full of mature trees and pretty scenery along a river view, and the staff here couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Our utilities were easy to reach and worked well, and there is plenty of room to walk a dog. The location is convenient to exploring both Wenatchee and nearby Leavenworth, and Verizon worked fine here without a booster. The only drawback for the park is the near constant daytime road noise- I don’t know what makes Hwy 2 so busy, and while it quieted at night, it is loud. There are also train tracks across the river, so between the two, daytime noise was notable. That said, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

This park is under the hidden gem catagory. Beautiful clean, grassy, spacious sites. So well maintained. The bathrooms are not only sparkling, they smell great! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. They have on off leach Area for your dog. Not fenced though. We stayed in an electric and water site. There is a free dump station on the way out. The river is pretty swift so swimming is probably hazardous but there are places you can put your feet in. Big rig friendly. The only reason I gave it four stars, is that it is next to route 2 so there is traffic noise . But they're close to everything. I definitely recommend staying there.

Clean, quiet park. Lots of room between spaces. Friendly staff. Easy in and out. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice location on the river with full access. Plenty of places to swim or just set and cool off in the shade. Full modern hookups with nice showers and toilets.
