Many historic buildings relocated to the site and restored. The main museum building houses numerous artifacts of local history. Many events spring through fall including the annual Scotish Festival, a must see.

We did a self tour but there are volunteers on the grounds in period costumes with lots of information. One homestead had a woman baking muffins in the old oven using a recipe from the 1800s and we all got one, yummy.
Sorry was two weeks ago, but there is one coming up in olcott in a couple of weeks
