Now that we have shower facility and it's getting that overgrown vegetation trimming courtesy of the million goats now inside the wire fence. So nice to see the peacocks and they're with babies to.

Ive lived in these woods . In the daytime it's a great place to experience local nature . The caretaker Tim is on top of his position and cares a ton about his job and it shows in how well kept the grounds are. However at night being as it's closed to the public and the adjacent wooded area is prone to dangerous and secluded conditions it's best to stay out of the area. It's a place that horror stories are a reality.

$4 per person per night. But keep in mind camping at Camp Pollock is limited to organized youth and educational groups (at least 11 people) with an educational or interpretive interest in the parkway and its resources. Great for scouts! More information and camping application available at SacValleyConservancy.org
