You can truly see for 100 miles on a clear day. Stop and watch an amazing sunrise on the way up to the lake and on to summit Eureka Peak. Mt. Lassen can be seen from the peak if good fortune presents itself and provides you a clear day.

Great place to go star gazing at night! Not far from Plumas-Euteka state park. Which is a beautiful place to go camping! This pic of the moon rising was taken from the ski bowl parking lot on 7/15/22 around 10:30pm.

The existing lifts stopped working in the nineties and will not open again, they are too old. The club is looking for funding to purchase a new surface lift. Take note though; under the rules for the Longboard races the contestants must carry their own longboards to the top of the race course.
Yes, people had dogs on and off their leashes when my family was there 3 weeks ago.
No, but it's fun to skin up & ski down or walk up & sled down. Longboard races happen in the New year & the sweet groomed sled run!
