Easy access, lots of containers for the various items we discard, and the attendant helped me get a chair out of my truck into the bin.

No problems. Plenty of dumpsters available. Easy in, easy out. Facilities for just about any kind of refuse, even facilities for glass and cardboard recycling. It's a clean well maintained facility.

The convenience center is convenient. Just do not try to enter the location by making a Uturn on McNeil road as your car's left side will scrape the pavement. Drive straight in and you will be OK Ashe county requires residents to bring their garbage and recyclables to convenience centers as their is no garbage pickup outside towns and burning garbage is not allowed in N Carolina. Visitors are also allowed to deposit household garbage at these centers. The convenience centers are open from 7 am till 7 pm except on Sunday. They may be closed on holidays and may close early on some holiday eves.
