Well I have been to the roti shops in Orlando and to joys service there is amazing. The food here was way better then the owner’s attitude. She was so rude from the moment I tried to order. The only reason I did not leave is because we live in Lakeland and there’s know roti shops over here, but I will never return. My husband has been there in 2020 and she was rude to him so he has not returned. Since I was In the area I thought I would give it a try, but nope 2 years later and the same nasty attitude. As I was ordering she was even shaking her head and not listening to what I was ordering she almost gave me the wrong thing and when I corrected her she then shakes her head and made a sour face. I love trini food so much and will only go back to Vicky’s in Orlando and joys In Miami.

Authentic Trinidadian food. Ordered shrimp curry and chicken curry dal puri. The roti skin was soft, cooked well and had deliciously seasoned lentils stuffed inside; gave it a great texture. The chicken was moist and tender. But the alloo (potato) curry sauce stole the show. I also had the rum cake which was moist and decadent

I was in Tampa for a day, and googled this place. Since I am Trini, I had to get some doubles, curry chicken and curry shrimp and rice. All I have to say is I regretted going and wasting my money. Doubles was horrible the Bara was hard no taste, curry chicken no taste missing everything watery plus chicken wasn’t cooked all the way, and curry shrimp oh my goodness that’s is Cocktail shrimp that’s not how you use to make curry shrimp; that’s laziness. The lady running the place now is rude We knew that. All of you that are saying this is the best, you must have never lived in Trinidad. Come to Orlando or go to Joy’s in Fort Lauderdale. Joy’s the best!!!
