Impossible to get through when you call and the zoom call to listen and ask questions isn't worth the price of tea in China.

After several attempts, unable to make contact.

Giving them 5 Stars 🤩.... They've always went above and beyond my case's over the year's.... Even got me money from a landlord trying to sue me.... I'm extremely thankful for Legal Aid of NC....

There are so slow responses
OMG!!! Not sure what he's being held for but EVERYONE deserves a more fair process in the system. The time in incarcerated seems very lengthy unless he's being held on DNA charges for something enormous. Please give a proper knowledge of EVERYTHING to get a more honest or straightforward response.
Who is "they"? If a custody case was started then it was started by you or her. In that case, she hired an attorney to adequately represent her.
Go to court to aquire visitation rights legal aide can help too. He can call and find out if he can get the legal help he needs maybe a small fee depends on his situation. Good Luck
Talk to the leasing agent that leased you the car comes with hidden agenda. They may have extended the least because you were behind in those payments. Since you are caught up they added extra fees and extension to keep up with your least agreement. Please talk to the car dealership that you leased your car from. Read the contract been there done that. Now I buy my cars cash when tax time comes.
I believe so... I know you would have to make other living arrangements while the house is being seen for sale.
The first task for me was to call the housing inspection department of Charlotte. After they came out, I submitted a copy of the findings to the landlord/ property management and the next thing was actions to correct the problem. You are not alone in seeing things are livable for you and your family.
They were not able to help me because Federal funding not available for their agency for months after I went to them...they did call and offer to help me but it was many months after I went to them....while office upgraded and carpeted and recruited staffed and trained.... I really needed them but they were stuck waiting on Federal funding....did call me months later after I had been railroaded thru....not allowed to ever say anything....now people are saying that my record is lmpeccable and they ought to have listened to me and helped me.......damage is done.....am told some may be able to reverse or correct this.....very cruel for a senior....tough enough without extra trumped up untrue troubles...it has been tough......thank you for caring enough to check on this and on me.....God Bless you....
Based on their limited funding, divorce is not one of their practice areas. Many offices in the state have do it yourself packets and/or clinics to teach people how to do it
This is not an appropriate forum for this type of question. She should contact Legal Aid or another attorney to discuss in private. More info would be needed to answer the question
They should, give them a call
This is a state service they can take the case pro bono or they can charge you.
Yes
I don't think they handle those type of cases.
Probably not! I'm not 100% sure.
