I hired Affordable Mason to replace missing red brick (faux). I paid them in good faith as Bob (worker) said the pink brick he replaced needed to dry before matching the red brick. After drying, the replaced brick remained the same pink. I called and sent pictures to Mike McNamara who sent Bob to redo the brick. When Bob asked me to walk around to see his work, not all of the job had been done. Bob then asked for $200, which I refused as I had already paid for a job that was lousy. Bob went into a rage, using the f--- word and saying he was leaving. I left Bob outside in a rage, going into my home. I had never experienced such unprofessional behavior. I shared Bob's behavior with Mike. Mike later said Bob would be back the next day. I told Mike not to send Bob back to my house and that I was ending any relationship with them. Also, I stated that I wanted no further communication with anyone associated with Affordable Mason. Bob then sent me a text saying he would be at my house at 8:30am the next day. I responded back for him not to come onto my property. Mike then sent a text saying to call 911 if Bob showed. Bob ignored my request and appeared the next day. I called the police who enforced Bob leaving the property. The next day I received a text from Bob saying he would be coming over. Thankfully, he didn't show and it felt like intimidation. I take responsibility for not being more discerning and am concerned that Angie's is not more discerning. I find Affordable Mason both incompetent and dangerous based on Bob's behavior. "DO NOT HIRE" Affordable Mason is my recommendation. I learned an expensive lesson and would not wish my experience to be replicated by anyone.

I was selling my house and the inspector said we had to reline our chimney.we called affordable and they came out to install liner.problem is they installed a too small liner in our chimney.inspector said it wasnt up to code.we paid for a 6 inch liner.he installed a 5 inch..he said a month ago ge would come out and fix it..now he wont answer phone..this company sucks!

In RESPONSE TO THE NOTE BELOW: I am NOT mistaken. I have all of the texts and emails between us regarding the trash, as well as the emails we both exchanged with the state's attorney general's office in which you stated you would reimburse me for the trash collection I paid for which, of course, you did not. UPDATE: Just an update that the owner left construction trash from the job, which my borough would't take. I had to pay a trash removal company to come get the trash (after attempting to have the owner do so for MONTHS). Awful experience. I would give zero stars if possible. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Repaired damaged stucco and refuses to come remove the trash from the job (after saying repeatedly that he would). It has been over a month, and my township will not take construction trash.
