I must say probably go early in the morning. We went too late and really only saw the largest spiders ever. Also we ended up having to buy tickets to the plantation to get in so was expensive, there is a back way in but if you're not from the area you wouldn't know about it.

Beautifully maintained pathways lead to a lovely swamp area filled with nesting birds, cypress trees, and alligators! Very easy to walk with a stroller or wheelchair.

It's a proper swamp area where you can spot turtles and gators.

We saw 2 alligators, a barred owl, a snake and many turtles in our short visit. Would definitely go back!

Unfortunately not. You have to pay for the garden and then the swamp on top of that. Ends up being about 40 dollars per person.
Not to mu knowledge.
It's $20 to access the plantation at all and almost all the activities including the swamp walk are an additional $8 each.
