I really like the cabinets that they supplied with Landmark24 in the design of my home. Wish they did custom work. I had a custom job to do and I wanted it to match the other cabinets I got from them.

We've had an excellent experience with John, Cindy, Shawn, & the install team. Our kitchen cabinets arrival date was delayed about 3 weeks however, we were kept up to date on what was going on and anything that needed to be corrected was taken care of promptly. I'm not sure we are the easiest customers to work with because we are very meticulous but found John and his team to be just as meticulous and attentive to detail as us. That gave us comfort that we were in good hands. Recommend them hands down. Thank you John & team!

itchen Design Solutions (KDS) sets themselves apart from their competitors in their ability to deliver full kitchen renovation giving a quality product in an excellent time frame. My wife (Jo) and I had been considering renovating our kitchen and the timing seemed perfect during the COVID shutdowns when we thought we had selected the right vendor to do the job. We decided to meet with KDS who primarily does cabinetry work as they wanted to expand their business into doing full renovations. We met with John and Shawn Thompson at the KDS showroom and then at our house with their staff to discuss the scope of the project. This was a pretty big job with the demolishing of our old kitchen, removing the old tile floors and putting new ones down (in three rooms beside the kitchen), a adding number of new; appliances, cabinets, counter tops, farmers sink, wall tiling, with the corresponding electrical, plumbing, dry wall, interior painting and HVAC work to make it all happen! Once we met with the team we were reassured that they had dependable contractors they had used and would be using them for the project. We decided as well to pay for the services of Shawn (John's wife) as the project manager (she also did interior design as well!) to ensure that we would have scheduling and accountability for the work. Shaw developed the schedule and John worked up the cost of the complete project. We were given a 4-6 week projection for the work, but Shawn said she was going to target for three and half weeks! I have extensive project management experience and it looked tight with everything having to go right to do that (which is normally not the case...), but knowing that we agreed on the project with a last minute change being added by us when we decided to move a small wall to enlarge a closet as part of the project (not usually a good idea to make last minute changes...). They hit the ground running with a well coordinated team that worked well together. We had a functioning fully renovated kitchen in FOUR weeks with a larger pantry closet, except for some punch list items that took a little while longer to knock out. The results were spectacular and we are thrilled with the quality of their work and the timeless of the project! We full heartily recommend Kitchen Design Solutions as the attached pictures show the quality of their work!

In most cases, wood flooring is not recommended for kitchens. Nonetheless, it remains a popular option. If it looks good, go ahead and utilize it, especially if you're connecting the kitchen to a room with wood floors. choose other materials over wood because of the “wear and tear factor”, and the risk of water damage. Call Kitchen Design Solutions to learn more.
Cabinets refacing is less expensive than replacing them, however it is rarely recommended. If you're replacing doors or drawer fronts, you'll also need to replace the front face of the cabinet frame to ensure that the doors and other visible portions of the cabinet match. The most common source of issues is when the frame is re-faced. An unsightly gap appears if the laminate slips or pulls away. Call Kitchen Design Solutions to learn more.
Cabinetry is certainly the most expensive purchase in the kitchen from a functional sense, owing to its enormous volume. However, depending on the style and materials you like, you might spend a lot of money on your countertops and floors. Call Kitchen Design Solutions to learn more.

Before removing a wall, a pro will consider: -The structure wall supports and whether there’s another way to shore this up. -Any pipes or electrical conduits within the wall and where to move them. - What’s behind the wall? If there’s an old-fashioned water tank behind the wall, for example, will it ruin the design to expose it? -How will the existing kitchen electrical outlets and light switches be affected? -Will there be sufficient wall space for cabinet installation? - How the change might affect baseboard heating. -Whether the type of flooring in both areas will match. -Will building codes require you to add new outlets or other safety features? -Will you need vertical support beams in addition to extra ceiling supports? -If the proposed changes add to the real estate value enough to justify the expense.
The simplest way to tell is to follow the floor and ceiling joists and note how they’re positioned. Floor joists are usually accessible via a crawl space or your basement. If your wall is load-bearing, you’ll notice that there’s a heavier beam under that wall. Ceiling joists are a little trickier. You may have to remove the drywall to expose them. If you see two posts resting on top of the wall, it’s load-bearing. Without adequate support, the beams will cave in. All of your exterior walls are, by nature, load-bearing because they support the eaves of the roof. If you’re not sure, call a reputable firm to help with your new kitchen design. It’s the safest, quickest, and most cost-effective way to remodel a kitchen.
Most families spend more time in the kitchen than in any other room in the home, which makes it the heart of the home. Even people that don’t spend a lot of time cooking tend to gather in the kitchen to catch up on the day and relax. However, a poorly designed kitchen can be a huge source of frustration. You may find that it’s not easy to find what you need when you need it or that you can’t fit everyone in your kitchen at once. Kitchens have to be practical first and pretty second, and sometimes the only way to do that is with a complete kitchen remodel.
Wood countertops give your kitchen a cozy feel and make your home appear more natural. If you have hardwood flooring, you can easily find a countertop to match, which will give your home’s aesthetics a big boost. Wood countertops also work well with contemporary home designs and modern kitchens.
Quartz countertops contain engineered stone that is typically a mixture of around 90% quartz and a 10% blend of other minerals. The material used for quartz countertops isn’t the same kind of quartz produced in a quarry. Quartz countertops are most recognizable by their solid black resin veins that spread across the surface. Like granite, quartz countertops come in a wide range of different styles and colors, making them an excellent choice for designers, builders, and kitchen customers. One noteworthy thing about quartz countertops is that they have a non-porous surface, making them resistant to stains and easy to clean.
If you plan to put your home on the market in the future, the kitchen and bathroom make good home improvement projects. Updating either room will your home the edge for buyers. You’ll typically add significantly more value than the cost of the remodel.
The average, kitchen remodel starts at around $5,000 to $20,000. It can go up to $50,000 or more, depending on the product selections you choose and the extent of the changes. If you’re keeping the same layout, but changing cabinets and countertops that will cost less than if you’re removing walls. Gutting your kitchen and changing the layout is costly because you may need a contractor, plumber and or an electrician.

Resurfacing involves adding a new veneer to existing cabinets, cabinet doors, and drawer fronts. It can also be repainting your current cabinets. The main benefit of cabinet resurfacing is that it doesn’t involve replacing the cabinet but giving it a newer look instead.
