It's an amazing and clean beach to relax at with family. The only downside is that it can get a bit packed at times, but other than that it's pretty nice and calming.

We have been coming here for many years. I will not go to any other beach especially since I have children now. The ease of unloading our things right on the beach and then packing back up is a luxury. You never have to find parking and then walk blocks to the beach lugging all your gear. Most people on the beach are courteous and are just there to enjoy the beach with their friends and family as well.

You need a 4wd vehicle.. not even AWD.. MUST BE 4WD!!! I pay $175/y on early registration by April else its $200. The fine alone costs more than a season of beach access. It is great.. do it legally and enjoy.
