Nice camp ground and people but not really kids oriented, really disappointed that with a name like 6 lakes they don't have anywhere onsite to swim. Nearest swimming location is like 1 mile away on a public beach Guess I should have did more research. The do have a boat launch though but no swimming allowed there

I have not experienced camping here and never will. Because of some ill informed people, we were banned from bringing our family dog. She is a mix breed who, according to the DNA test , is 30% pit bull. Needless to say I was stunned when I was told that. People need to be more informed about the breed before making such rules. Funny that there are a ton of other campgrounds that never bat an eye when we camp with her. I'm very sorry for the unfortunate circumstance that lead to this rule. But maybe try blaming the owners of the dog and not the breed of dog.

Yes there's a tent site primitive or with electric in the shower or bath house is one minute from your tent site
