BREC is worst utility company in S.C. to deal with. No accountability. Charge more than any other power company iv ever seen. Just AVOID BREC electric co-op. At all costs!!!!!!

CROOKS! How is it even legal?!?! Had I known our house was being built in a Broad River Electric area, we would have never bought this home. Our friends who live 2 minutes down the road have Duke Energy and pay half of what we are paying for a much smaller home. Our house is brand new with top of the line insulation but still costing us $300 a month to heat (on 69° - 71°) due to these money hungry animals. Zero stars if I could.

Yeah a convenience fee lol this whole outfit is a joke. We should start are own power company. Ill get it started by donating 4- used AAA batteries and a useless lawnmower battery! Just joking around but in all seriousness im surprised there isnt a convenience fee for the convenience fee

I think it depends on when your service is set up. Mine is due on the 25th. And they don't play if your late, they will cut you off!!!!!

Mine went up $75.00 more a month. My power was cheaper when my hotwater heater had one element and leaking that's the truth
This is the question section, i think you meant to write that as a review instead of a question..but no worries that can be corrected. It's awful they treated you that way, maybe try calling corporate to discuss your incident?
No but if you have any money on the prepaid they wont switch it over to your normal bills they keep it
Maybe I sure no mine have been we really need a break. We make all them ritch. And the ones that work there are getting paid well that why it's a lot of family and friends. It sucks on the outside
