Extremely slow. Doesn’t answer 75% of phone calls. I got Invisalign and have been on my last rack for the last two months and still can’t get any details about when my last set of aligners will come in. They canceled two appointments and said they didn’t know when they would come in just to find out they actually need to scan my teeth. I won’t mind the slowness but they can’t even keep my updated.

I am not a visit the dentist regularly type person. If a tooth hurts bad enough I look for a dentist. Teeth don't hurt? No need to visit a dentist. Well I was in pain and went looking for a dentist. I have dental insurance through work but didn't have much hope in it as I found the medical insurance provided by my work is... lackluster. Anyways visited Aspen Dental on sunset Blvd. And it was well I have a hard time calling dentist visits pleasant but it was a pleasant experience. I go back next week to get two teeth pulled as they will cause me future problems if I don't so better to bite the bullet now and prevent pain in the future. All in all the experience was good.

Please do not go Aspen Dental Lexington, SC; on 5540 Sunset Blvd. My husband was the patient. Our 1st visit was on a Saturday, ladder part of January 2022. I told them to call me in for his consult, but they didn't; not even for any of the visits. I am the one that would retain the information for treatment. I was there was the check-out and initial insurance part. Which is another story! My husband was diagnosed with a tooth infection w/hole in tooth. No prescription called in and he had to wait until that Monday. Go back in February to get fitted for partial, that would be ready 2 weeks. Rx for antibiotics, not called in again. 2 wks later, appt for extractions and to put partial in. Partial not ready and they are stalling us. After about another hour, they said my husband's blood pressure was very elevated and they couldn't do the procedure. I took him to Medicare/Urgent care, NE; where his BP was a little elevated, but "not"high. Cost $100 for that visit. We called back to Aspen Dental for a later appt that day(3:30pm). We wanted to get the work done, because we both had taken off work. Sometime after 6pm; appt was done. Extractions+partial put in. Guess what again, no Rx was called in.(Walmart right next to the office). I went back in the office to make sure rx would be called in and the Dr. Jimenez, DDS is sitting down talking and then got up with an attitude. Had to wait to the next day for rx. At this point; we weren't going to come back to this office. Well at this point, my husband's partial is scraping his gums and causing pain. So, I made him an appt in Summerville, (March 2022), where he works. When he finally goes in for his office visit, they say they can't see him because he owes $189.24. We had already paid in full for "All" the work that was itemized on our receipt for him to get done($1248.76), plus pay $151 for a year discount plan. My husband's dental plan had a waiting period, so that is why we bought to discount plan and paid out of pocket. Now they telling us, his work dental plan was suppose to pay for his extractions. They are full of it!! Not once was it mentioned that my husband's work insurance plan was going to be billed for extractions. I don't quit know how they are billing for these procedures; but it needs to be investigated!!! The office manager said that she would write off half the bill and we pay the remaining cost. I told her we shouldn't have to pay anything. Needless to say, they have a balance on my husband's account and my husband has a partial that does not fit. Next step will be a formal complaint. We have had nothing but one thing after another go wrong with this office.

The whole team was excellent! Amber was great and made sure I understood everything regarding my treatment plan. I usually hate the dentist but they made me feel so comfortable.Thank you for your kind review, Erin! I hope you continue to have 5-star visits in the future. - Mitch, ADMI

Trash. They treat you like trash after they got your money. Lie about setting up appointments and you never find out until it's too late. How convenient no one ever leaves notes in your file. Their system doesn't track what users were in your file.
