American Floral has been an absolute blessing during my wedding planning phases. Especially Scott, who has excellent communication via phone and email, which I think is a bit rare with some vendors due to being so busy... but he's always there to answer the twenty new questions that pop into my brain at random. My Fiancé and I live in Louisiana and are getting married in three weeks at the Riverbanks Botanical Garden. Scott actually showed up in person to take a tour with me in order to help me visualize everything I wanted for our special day. Since I am not a local and he has successfully completed numerous weddings at our location it really did help to have someone so experienced, confident, and passionate about the quality of product they provide. He has gone above and beyond to cater to all my needs, including adding and subtracting bouquets/boutonniers/ other types of arrangements because he knows when planning a destination wedding almost anything can happen last minute. Heck he even gave me advice on the best hotels to get a room block for our wedding party. The man is a Saint with a heart of gold. He has truly helped make my wedding planning experience fun. Even after the party is over I have a feeling I'll be working with Scott a lot more in the future. 😊

American floral did some of my wedding flowers. My bridesmaid bouquets were supposed to be a mixture of white and blush flowers and they arrived with no blush flowers and with small red Christmas looking berries. My bridesmaids had to redo my bridal bouquet due to a similar issue. Several of the wrist corsages for family members arrived as pin on rather than wearable on the wrists. My centerpieces were also supposed to be a mixture of white and blush flowers in a clear glass cube vases and arrived with the same red berries and no blush flowers. They also had a green lining inside of the vase. Luckily, my bridesmaids were also able to change and fix this issue. I was just disappointed with the products that I received, especially for the price.

Scott was an absolute joy to work with. His knowledge and professionalism came highly recommended for our wedding. I knew from our first conversation that I wanted to hire him/ I wanted the best for our wedding! He took the vision we had with a few example photos of style and completely NAILED IT! Everyone was very complimentary of our flowers at the wedding! I got the added bonus of telling them everything was REAL FLOWERS! I can't rave about Scott enough! We were so very fortunate to have had American Floral suggested to us for the floral design for our daughter’s wedding in August. Scott was great to work with and really listened to our ideas for the florals. He took our simple vision for blue and white flowers to a stunning reality that was anything but simple. We knew we wanted simple bouquets, unique boutioneers and modest florals for the wedding ceremony and a chinoiserie-styled reception. Scott took us through the entire planning process asking us all the right questions and keeping us on a great schedule to reduce stress during what could have been a stressful time. His experience and calm demeanor always made us feel at ease and confident in our planning process. We never felt out of the loop in the decisions because of his willingness to discuss details. We came to him with a very specific vision with no prior experience in wedding planning. Other floral designers may not have had the willingness to keep things so specific, but Scott gave us the simple elegance that we wanted. Scott met with me repeatedly to get all of the details just right, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. The flowers at Shandon United Methodist Church were stunning, and the reception florals at Forest Lake Club were breathtaking. I would highly recommend working with Scott at American Floral for a wedding or any other special event.
