Well, I hate to complain, but the last Hilton hotel I stayed in was in Duluth, so that is why I decided to stay here. I came to this area to take a nursing test at a nearby testing center. I have always stayed at Hilton hotels, but had no idea my expectations would so disappointed after staying at a beautiful, clean, Hilton hotel like the one in Duluth. To start, I think they upgraded, but was not sure, because I reserved a king bed, and I ended up getting two doubles in my room which wasn't really a big deal, however when I walked in, I felt like I was in a bad episode of the Brady Bunch and couldn't escape. The decor definitely was not up to par, very outdated. I walked into my room and it was so hot that I had to call the front desk. They did send maintenance quickly, but the stench of the old hotel plus the room being so hot almost made me retch. So, I ended up with a box fan. The air conditioner never really worked properly, so I was thankful for the fan, but I would have been ashamed to charge for a room. And, the sink beside the coffee pot had coffee on the wall. Did not make me feel as though the room was deep cleaned. The food from the cafe was minimal, and I was charged twice. I called to accounting department and they were too rude to call back. Never could get a live person. Still checking my credit card to see if it was fixed. I don't mind paying for good food. But to have minimal food and be charged twice!!! And then, not receive a phone call back? I called twice. Also, the breakfast bar. I wanted eggs and bacon, and the eggs were obviously powder eggs and the bacon was cold. Just not a good stay and I felt the hotel was old and dirty. NO ROOM SERVICE. I will say the positives: The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and there was plenty of parking, and the bathroom did smell of clorox, so I am assuming the cleaning in the bathroom was complete. I will not be staying here again. I was so disappointed after staying at the Hilton in Duluth. No comparison at all. Needs updating and some new carpet.

I booked a room at this Embassy and I was excited because i love Embassy brand hotels. Let me tell you, it will definitely be my last stay at this one. First, I booked a king suite. When i arrived, I received a suite with 2 doubles. I called the front desk and was told βyou booked 2 doubles.β I explained that I did not, and was then given the real excuse as to why I received a double room, which was they were out of king suites. Disappointing, but whatever, it happens. First off, the hotel is huge and has a really nice atrium in usual Embassy style. They have made to order breakfast thatβs included and complementary drinks every evening, which is a nice bonus. However, the rooms need a major update. The furniture is pretty old. The couches are worn with stains, the beds are pretty squeaky, and the carpet needs replacing, or at least a deep cleaning because when we walked in, there was a bit of an unpleasant smell, like the smell of mildew. Also, the walls are paper thin. I could hear people in the room beside me and in the halls while i was in the living room area. I figured, as long as i cant hear them in the bedroom, that fine. I didnβt hear the people next door while in the bedroom, but I definitely heard the people above me while i was in bed. 7 am, i was awakened to the sound of people talking and laughing above me. And it really didnt sound like they were being overly loud. They seemed to be talking in regular tones, but the walls and floors are so thin, every little sound is magnified. I could hear doors closing, people talking all day and night, luggage carts rolling by. I could even hear when the people above me flushed their toilet. Very disappointing. I will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

Very easy to get to, this was close to a work function I had scheduled this week. The rooms were very big, but the bathrooms were very small. I feel as though they could have sacrificed a little bit more of the living room for a bigger shower. My room on the 7th floor was the first one next to the elevator, and I cringed when I realized it, hoping that I wouldn't be up all night with people up and down. That was not the case, and I slept sound because the bedroom was in the back of the room. I think that the room window out to the hallway should not have a sheer curtain, but something more opaque. Privacy was a little bit of a concern when I was in the living space as opposed to the bedroom where I could shut the door. Staff was very nice and helpful, no complaints at all. $5 to park overnight, which I thought was interesting and kind of odd, but I suppose they may have problems with non guests in the parking lot? Seems like the parking lot was huge and they had hundreds of spaces open on a Friday. Plenty of EV parking. I would stay here again, the price was reasonable, and the room was very clean.

We just experienced a wonderful stay here. No complaints everything was great! The check in was not only super simple but the front desk people were extremely nice and explained everything to us. The evening reception almost had me drunk off the complimentary drinks π we booked a king suite which was very roomy, could maybe use a little updating but everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast did not disappoint and the omelet stand was everything! We will definitely be back!
