Haven't actually dropped anything there to be processed but I've been looking for a processor. I usually process my own hogs but I'm too busy to process atm so I gave them a call. Nicest people I've ever dealt with in this business. They answer the phone and that's a huge plus for me. I've called all the processors in this area and no one picks up the phone. Will update review when I pick up meat in the future.

The drop off process was simple and fast. Workers were friendly. Did not have to wait and my deer went straight into the cooler.

I just started using Backwoods during the 2020 hunting season. I personally drive 45-50 minutes to take my deer here. It is a little out of the way for me but it is extremely clean, affordable and the staff is friendly, so the drive is worth it. Everything is vacuum sealed and it STAYS vacuum sealed. Definitely recommend.

Depends on what cuts you want. Costs are listed on the spec sheet you fill out. Skinning, gutting, roast, loins, and remainder ground runs me $60.

They have a cooler you can use for late night drop offs. Paperwork is to your left for how you want it processed. Make sure kill is tagged and information is on paperwork. Been using them for 7 years now, everything is great including the jerky.
